Tipped as a band to watch by stereogum, the tubs make wiry, jangling indie rock with literary, world-weary lyrics. Their third album, hard life, adds fiddle to the sound across twelve songs about grief and disappointment, and comes out on merge records in september 2026. They play chalk in october.
