The Cureheads The band has toured in the UK, the USA, continental Europe, and South America, playing festivals, including opening for Echo and The Bunnymen and The Pretendersat Guilfest. The band strive to re-create the experience of seeing a mid to late 1980s concert by The Cure, including not only the sound, but also the wardrobe, attitude, stage, light show and various video and computer images. The longest-running tribute to the cure, going since 1990 and touring well beyond the uk to spain, japan, south america and the usa. The show recreates the look, sound and atmosphere of a cure gig, from the spiky early post-punk through the big pop singles, and now takes in a siouxsie and the banshees set too. They have also started putting out material of their own.
