about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
An independent brighton songwriter who has been self-releasing since the fat madison ep, taking his acoustic music from bedroom recordings to the city's small rooms. Story-driven, lyrical folk that mixes whimsical imagery with melancholic undercurrents. Live, it lands as upbeat alt-folk with a warm stage presence.
