Special Guest - Vanessa Forero

Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation expertly weaves a rooted Americana sound, blending folk-rock, country influences and deeply emotive songwriting. Sorrel has built a growing reputation for her distinctive voice, powerful live performances and evocative storytelling. Her music combines warmth, honesty and rich musicality, with lyrics that explore travel, solitude, connection to nature and resilience. Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut studio album, Lost En Route, Sorrel has toured extensively across the UK performing at festivals including Black Deer, Wickham, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Festival alongside multiple national headline tours. Her performances range from delicate acoustic intimacy to soaring full-band arrangements as showcased on her ‘rootsy’ second studio album, Creeping Thyme, released October 23rd 2026. And yes, Sorrel Nation is her real name…

English/Colombian Vanessa Forero has been composing since childhood & professionally since 2004 - writing for film & TV, winning best score for sci-fi movie ABE, had music broadcast on major channels & cinema screens worldwide, worked with the Liverpool Philharmonic & had music picked up by Universal Music.
Since the scoring industry took a turn, Vanessa decided to make a shift to live music, where she found community in musicianship and audience, and where she explored her own voice and scored her own whimsical life. She has written, played & produced every one of her own records so far & toured the US, Colombia and completed two sell-out tours in the UK last year and one on the way.
Vanessa was recently featured on Ben Fogles: New Lives In The Wild, where we got to see her self-built home in the mountains of Colombia. She’s also co-author of the bestselling book written about her mother: "The Girl With No Name", which became National Geographic documentary: "Woman Raised By Monkeys", for which Vanessa scored part of the soundtrack.
With a sequel book, a movie, a new cabin in the mountains to build, and new albums in the making, Vanessa is one to watch for!

A lively brighton punk rock and roll band with a psychedelic streak and a cheeky sense of humour. Their frontman likes to leave the stage and sing right in among the crowd.
