Revolt: Big Fear + Tungz + Sock Drawer + Snowy Mountain

REVOLT transforms Brighton venues into spaces of solidarity, amplifying emerging artists to raise crucial funds for medical and healthcare relief in Palestine. What’s happening in Gaza is not just a crisis, it is the destruction of an entire society. For more than two years, Israel’s military campaign has created a catastrophic humanitarian emergency. Since October 2023, at least 73,910 people have been killed, and more than 174,914 have been injured, the vast majority civilians, including tens of thousands of women and children. Many more deaths continue to be recorded as bodies are recovered and violence persists. Famine-level conditions are spreading, with large numbers of children suffering from acute malnutrition and urgently needing food, clean water, and medical care. Famine was officially confirmed by the UN in August 2025 — the first time in the history of the Middle East region. Access to essential supplies continues to be severely restricted. Gaza’s health system has been systematically devastated: all 38 hospitals and 157 clinics have been targeted, with only 16 hospitals remaining partially functional, and nearly 90% of all water and sanitation infrastructure damaged or destroyed. Despite global protests demanding a ceasefire, Western governments, including the UK, continue to provide weapons and political support to Israel, enabling this devastation to continue. Humanitarian aid remains blocked or constrained, but donations to trusted medical and relief organisations are a vital lifeline. In Gaza, where people are being denied their basic rights and means to survive, every act of solidarity matters. We’re excited to be at Brighton, The Hope & Ruin, with this incredible lineup: Big FearBig Fear is a London-based band known for their dystopian alt-pop sound. Formed by Alice Edwards, Jack Wilkinson, and Ben Crone, the band’s music explores themes of fear and apathy, often with a synth-throbbing and operatic style. Edwards, who is asexual and nonbinary, has been a powerful voice in the music scene, addressing issues that have been underrepresented in media and culture. Big Fear’s debut EP, “Career Day,” achieved 300k Spotify streams and earned plays on BBC 6 Music and Radio X, showcasing their growing popularity and impact. TungzTungz is a self-produced indie-pop and psychedelic funk quartet originally formed in Bristol, UK. Known for their signature blend of shimmering 1980s synthesizers, groovy disco beats, and bedroom-pop sensibilities, the band features members Nicky Green, Jamie Maier, Rick Holland, and Ollie Horne. Sock DrawerSock Drawer is an electronic pop duo based in Brighton, UK, known for their quirky, offbeat sound, dreamy synths, and lighthearted lyricism. Snowy MountainSnowy Mountain is the electronic music alias of Brighton-based artist Eleanor Whittle, who crafts dreamy soundscapes blending haunting melodies, delicate vocals, and hypnotic rhythms over atmospheric synth layers
