Award-winning neo-trad duo Lunatraktors return to the UK for their Autumn 2026 tour. Lunatraktors’ ‘broken folk’ style reinvents Anglo-Celtic traditional music with eclectic acoustic beats, deep drones, percussive dance and vocal harmonics. Our Deepest Sympathies explores folk songs from the 17th Century to the present day. The tour includes an exhibition at Field System gallery, somatic sound workshops, performances of their in-development theatre project TimeWeavers, and a recording session in Bristol’s newest studio Record Division.

Mojo magazine placed their albums in its top ten folk records for both 2019 and 2021. The duo call what they do broken folk: anglo-celtic traditional song stripped back to vocal harmony and percussive dance, then pushed out into stranger, more playful territory with accordion, whistles and deep drones. Their most recent release is the 2023 solstice record yulatraktors: solstice wyrd.
