VF Presents: JIM JONES ALL STARS Following a series of rapturously received dates this Spring, the band will be back with a vengeance this Autumn fordates in Bristol, Reading, Leeds, Glasgow, Stockton, Manchester, Nottingham, Brighton and London. The fulllist of dates can be found below. Tickets are on sale now. *tickets on sale 10am Wednesday* Jim Jones All Stars are arguably one of the most exciting acts on the circuit today. Led by Jim Jones and joined by former Jim Jones Revue members Gavin Jay (bass) and Elliot Mortimer (piano and keyboards), The Jim Jones All Stars are augmented by guitarist Carlton Mounsher, drummer Aidan Sinclair, Backing Singer Ali Jones and thedouble-Sax attack of Stuart Dace, and Tom Hodges. Together they create a bubbling swamp curse of unholy rhythm that at once reflects the audaciousness of Fat White Family, the lo-slung attitude of Brian Jonestown Massacre, and the revolutionary spirit of Primal Scream. + support

Penelope Isles
band · indie · dream pop · psych pop · brighton, uk
Brighton indie band built around a sister and brother originally from the isle of man. Their songs pair fuzzy guitars and ambient delay with melodic pop hooks and two-voice harmonies, and they made brighton their home after falling for the city.
