about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
London collective that welds the golden era of west african funk and disco to electronics and post-punk energy. Their sixth album chopping mountain came out on merge records in september 2026, a record built around love, unity and resistance.
