stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
Alt-rock survivors whose 2025 record love chant was their first album of original material in nearly two decades, and was widely acclaimed on release. The sound is melodic guitar pop with a punk undertow, the voice lower and more brooding than in the 90s but the writing just as sharp. They play brighton in september 2026 as part of a seventeen-date uk tour.
“I had to take a break to reset, but I'm now ready and looking forward to a great tour.”
“The voice is lower and more brooding but the mood is pin prick sharp and the social commentary as barbed as ever.”
