The gulls are a high-energy rock and roll band who fold funk, folk and psychedelia into their sound, and are known for unannounced street-corner and rooftop shows. They set out in august 2020, touring through the pandemic, recorded their debut album lavender and tobacco in a derelict chateau in france, and have shared stages with kula shaker, the levellers and lava la rue.
