Tara Lily
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
The first british artist signed to motown records uk, tara lily now records for brighton label tru thoughts. A trinity laban trained pianist and singer, she folds jazz harmony, alternative r&b and skittering electronica into indian classical textures drawn from her british-bengali heritage. Debut album 'speak in the dark' arrived in 2024, since followed by singles and festival sets at glastonbury, we out here and wilderness.
