stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
A pioneer of free tekno and of speedbass, the 4x4 strain of drum and bass they are credited with naming. The bristol dj and producer welds amen breaks and jungle basslines to hard, fast kicks, and has run the amen4tekno label since the early 2000s. newer material lands on their own speedbass recordings imprint.
