Mojo magazine placed their albums in its top ten folk records for both 2019 and 2021. The duo call what they do broken folk: anglo-celtic traditional song stripped back to vocal harmony and percussive dance, then pushed out into stranger, more playful territory with accordion, whistles and deep drones.
