stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
A veteran of real time electroacoustic music, he improvises by processing other musicians' sound live through his own gesture controlled computer instrument, the signal processing instrument. He has worked for decades at the heart of the free improvisation scene, with records on labels including ecm, psi and leo records.
