stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
The songwriter behind the wedding present, who in 1992 put out a single every month and saw all twelve reach the uk top 30. The songs are fast, jangling and conversational, mostly circling the awkward end of a relationship. Now brighton based, where he curates the annual at the edge of the sea festival, this komedia date is a stripped-back semi-acoustic set plus a q&a for the third volume of the tales from the wedding present book.
