about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
A brighton jazz orchestra playing classic big band swing, usually with guest vocalists out front. It began in 1986 under another name and took its current title in 2014, and in 2026 it marks forty years of making music on the south coast.
