stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
Shetland raised singer, songwriter and classically trained pianist who fronted goya dress in the nineties, whose album rooms was produced by john cale. She has since made a run of solo albums, the tenth being shetland suite in 2024, a mix of folk, electronics and field recordings sung mostly in shetland dialect.
