Basil Gabbidon Band – A Celebration of Bob Marley & Jamaican Reggae

On Saturday 6th February Basil Gabbidon once again brings his band to JJJ to help us celebrate the birthday of reggae legend Bob Marley - who would have turned 82 on the very date of this gig - with a selection from Bob's back catalogue along with taking us through classics from the Jamaican Reggae songbook!

Led by Basil Gabbidon, founding member of Steel Pulse, one of the biggest Reggae bands to come out of Birmingham and the UK, GABBIDON makes sure that Reggae music remains live in Birmingham, the UK, Europe and Worldwide with a band featuring legendary Burning Spear bassist Paul Beckford, Karimah (Vocals), Catherine Beroard-Gabbidon (Vocals), GG (drums), Cherrie Morrison (Backing Vocals) and Shaik Faisal Ahmed (Keyboards).

This should be a real treat for reggae fans and a rare opportunity to enjoy one musical legend paying a musical tribute to another: don't miss out on this one folks ... It should be a fantastic evening!
