about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
A brass-heavy ska band working in the classic 2-tone tradition, with sharp songwriting and a bit of social bite under the bounce. Their 2025 second album '9 on the tiles' gave them 'bones', a single that became a favourite on bbc radio 6 music.
